For many people, the kind of boss they have can truly make or break their job. If you don’t love the work you do,  having a great boss that inspires, supports and challenges you can make all the difference. Conversely, if you have a bad boss going to work every day can be a real struggle.Are there certain industries where people tend to be closer to their boss? Not only interacting with them regularly but also seeing them outside of work and even meeting their significant others and family members. Olivet Nazarene University surveyed 3,000 people to find this out as well as see which states had employees that appreciate their bosses the most.As part of the survey,   they established 14 factors that indicate familiarity between bosses and employees, ranging from experiences they’ve had together, ways they’re connected digitally, and how their personal lives intersect.  The pool of respondents represents twenty-one industries, all 50 states, and ages ranging from 21 to 68-years-old.
